Chandler Sampson Trained and Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula
~ Serving Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Port Allen, Livingston, Walker, Central, New Orleans and the surrounding area
I am a trained and certified birth doula. I also have additional training as a doula for Bradley Method, Hyonobabies, and Lamaze comfort measures. I believe that birth is one of the most important events of a woman's life and should be treated as such. I believe in our body's ability to birth children while understanding that no two births are ever the same. I serve Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Walker, Port Allen, Cnetral, and beyond. I feel women deserve to be respected for their choices and supported in those choices. When I'm not working as your doula I am cuddling my young son Callahan and hanging out with my dog and my husband in Baton Rouge.
My interest for birth support and education started when the birth of my first child (Mary Beth) ended tragically with a stillborn at 26 weeks gestation. After researching support for such a thing I decided to pursue a job in the birth industry as a doula in support of both healthy and happy pregnancies and births as well as losses and difficult births. I was lucky to have an amazing birth team including a midwife and doctors help me during my loss and I want every woman to feel the love and support that we felt during that time no matter the circumstances.
Specializing in high risk and first time moms Bon Fete Doula serves the whole Baton Rouge and New Orleans area with extensive experience in natural, normal low-risk birth to VBACs, C-Sections and high risk pregnancies and loss support.
I also have several doulas with whom I work as back up so you'll never be with out a doula. We have served such hospitals such as Baton Rouge General, Women's Hospital, Our Lady Of the Lake, Touro Birthing Center, Family Birth Center Ochsner, Tulane Lakeside, The Birth Center of Baton Rouge, and others.
